Student intern sport massage therapists work with a variety of athletes, who are involved in contact and non-contact sports. They gain direct, hands-on experience in the various medical conditions to which athletes succumb as a direct result of their sport. Students work with athletic therapists and coaches to improve the performance of athletes.
